Our Mission
The Life Sciences Track brings together the MIT alumni—from entrepreneurs and investors to professors and experienced executives—who permeate the area. With a membership of 47 experienced healthcare angel investors, we hope to help daring MIT founders build the pioneering life sciences companies of tomorrow.
How we work
Each quarter we run a pitch meeting at which four ambitious life sciences companies are given the opportunity to present to our network of healthcare investors. These meetings are hosted by companies in Kendall Square — one of the world’s most active hubs for innovation in biotechnology and the life sciences. The meetings have the following progression:
Refreshments + Intros
Companies to connect with the angels over light refreshments
➟
Company presentations
Each company is given 20 minutes for their presentation + Q&A.
➟
Investor Discussions
Angels internally discuss the presentation.
➟
Informal Networking
Companies and angels are given another chance to network.
Our events connect founders, alumni, advisors, and investors to share ideas and opportunities.
The following companies have presented at our events and contributed to the conversation.
